Hans Christian Andersen "THE UGLY DUCLING". Story.

Dedicated to 200-th jubilee of Hans Christian Andersen.
A fascinating tale about a little duckling that was born looking differently from the others. A long neck, long legs, short wings. "Muck-muck" instead of habitual "guack-guack" - he was rejected not only by alien aunts-ducks and uncles-turkeys, but also by his own sisters and brothers.
The poor little duckling just has to die in solitude at the frozen lake, and watch sadly the swans flying in the sky in a beautiful white stripe.
But the Miracle will come true (one just should believe in it!), and the little Ugly Duckling will turn into a stately white swan and will fly with a flock of swans to far warm countries.
The main peculiarity, and probably the special thrill of the performance is that during the whole of it not a single "human" word is pronounced, but the spectators still understand everything and are agitated and interested. The puppets, like real ducks and geese, bathing and diving in real water with splashes, "the birds' language" - all this causes excitement and joy of little spectators.

"THUMBELINA"
Staged by Ruslan Kudashov

A young but a well-known Russian director has decided to tell the story of the little maiden Thumbelina once again. In this version of the fairytale, Thumbelina lives her life in various theatre worlds. Everything that is alien to her: the encounter with the ugly toads, the cockchafer, and the blind mole — happens in the theatre of shadows and disappears without a trace like a shadow. Her world, the world where she gains freedom and finds a kindred spirit, has shape and volume. Everything that happens outside her mind but influences her fate is performed by actors.

Once upon a time top stars came to visit the Little Stray Doggy and decided to make an amazing show. As if by magic pieces of foam-rubber are transformed into various figures and perform different tricks: three little merry pigs dancing lively cancan, a green grasshopper tripping it away to Lou Bega, and a white terry towel demonstrating the famous Michael Jackson’s moonwalk. The Little Stray Doggy show is a hit parade of Russian and foreign stars personified by various puppets entertaining the audience and lighting it up.

Nina Gernet
The forest musical

Once a little city girl Alenka went to the country to visit her grandmother. Alenka did not like the country life at all: she did not want to get up early, go to the forest, or look after the Gosling.
One day Alenka went to a meadow to graze the Gosling and fell asleep… Presently, the fox came by and stole the Gosling. So Alenka had to go to the woods to look for the Gosling. There she met forest inhabitants who taught her to communicate with nature, to greet every tree, every grass blade and every path, to chant merry songs, and above all helped her to find the Gosling
